KriegOPFer is a Saldus, Latvia based hardcore / punk / metal band formed on 1999 although the first ever show was played on late 2000.

Since then not much has changed with band members but a lot with music they play. On the first album “Best Hits 1940-1991” (2002) Ampula joined the band as a vocal, but later on started to do the second guitarist job. After a lot of shows on pubs and festivals KriegOPFer went again in studio to record second full lenght “Opponere” (2004) which was released by themselves as well as the first CD. Of course not everything went fine during all these years and after another creative crisis bass player Karlis decided to leave KriegOPFer to put his effort only on Tesa and the band’s existence was put under a question mark.

Nevertheless KriegOPFer didn’t split, instead they started to do shows without bass guitar and did it so convincing that no one ever complained about missing bass. So they went again in studio (Hodila Records) on 2007 to record new stuff and here it comes…
